General comments
Amoebenabces: in sommige gevallen is aspiratie geïndiceerd. Overleg met arts-microbioloog en internist-infectioloog.
Paromomycine is in Nederland niet geregistreerd maar is een zogeheten "ZFW-middel" en wordt niet vergoed voor patiënten met een amoebenabces of amoebendysenterie.
