General comments
Bij de pathogenese van Lyme borreliose spelen immunologische mechanismen een belangrijke rol. Hierdoor komt het regelmatig voor dat de klachten na afloop van de antibioticum kuur nog niet volledig zijn verdwenen. Men dient daarom enkele maanden af te wachten alvorens een tweede kuur te starten.
