General comments
Chemoprofylaxe van contacten kan geïndiceerd zijn, met als doel voorkoming van ziekte door eliminatie van dragerschap bij contacten van de indexpatiënt. Zie bij profylaxe en/of LCI protocol.
Meldingsplichtige ziekte groep C
Meningitis met Haemophilus influenzae altijd met ceftriaxon behandelen.
