General comments
Antibiotica niet primair geindiceerd.
Duur afhankelijk van kliniek. Er zijn aanwijzingen dat 4 dagen antibiotische behandeling na het bereiken van source control voldoende is.
Bij allergie voor cefalosporines: ciprofloxacine 2dd 500mg + clindamycine 3dd 600mg
Voor dekking ESBL bij dragerschap ESBL (kolonisatie/infectie ESBL < 1 jaar) en bij verhoogd risico ESBL (recent (<3 maanden) reis naar hoog-endemisch gebied (zie https://resistancemap.cddep.org/) en recente (< 2 maanden) ziekenhuisopname in buitenland). Zie: sepsis - onbekend focus*
